Professional experience
Luke is a Registered Psychologist with experience working with both young and older adults across a wide range of clinical presentations. He provides assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based psychotherapy for trauma (including acute stress and PTSD), alcohol and other drug-related difficulties, addiction, men’s health, relationship issues, depression, and anxiety.
Luke delivers therapy that is tailored to each client’s needs and culturally appropriate. He draws on therapeutic approaches such as Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). In addition, Luke is a certified trauma-informed practitioner and trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
Luke also brings experience in occupational rehabilitation and is well-versed in third-party frameworks supporting workplace injuries, including TAC, WorkCover and Comcare.
He provides comprehensive assessment and reporting services for cognitive functioning in both children and adults, as well as assessments for ADHD (children and adults), working memory difficulties (16 years and over), and personality disorders (16 years and over).
