What happens if the employee needs more support?
In some cases, the specialty or the duration of counselling that is required may be outside the scope of EAP services. In this case, Access Psych may facilitate a referral via the employee’s General Practitioner for counselling under Medicare’s Better Access to Mental Health Care program.
Tailoring EAP to your organisation
Access Psych recognises that every workplace and worker is different, so we tailor the EAP package to suit the organisation. This can include an initial screen of the individual and allocation to the most appropriate practitioner near you based on the service delivery needs. It will also include the number of sessions available to each employee, and potentially their family members.
In addition to the EAP service, Access Psych offers a suite of corporate health packages designed to improve employee’s health and wellbeing, while reducing absenteeism and the risk of illness.
