Professional experience
Sylvie is a Registered Psychologist experienced in working with clients across the lifespan who are experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, adjustment issues and grief and loss. She has a special interest in the link between trauma and the nervous system, and in delivering neuro-affirming and culturally sensitive therapy.
Sylvie has a warm and genuine approach and works in line with her values of collaboration and connection to meet clients where they’re at and help them to create meaningful change. She utilises a range of evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. Sylvie understands the importance of working with clients holistically towards strengths-based recovery.
