Amber Jones
Professional experience
Amber is a registered psychologist who works with adults across a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, workplace stress and bullying, adjustment difficulties, burnout, and major life transitions.
She brings several years of experience in occupational rehabilitation, giving her a strong understanding of the workers compensation system, return to work challenges, chronic pain, injury recovery, and the psychological impact that workplace injuries can have on a person’s life. She frequently works with clients navigating compensation schemes while helping them move beyond the injury and reclaim a meaningful life.
Her approach is trauma-informed, practical, and tailored to each individual. Amber draws on evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other approaches informed by each client’s needs and goals.
Warm, accepting, and compassionate, Amber creates a space where people feel genuinely heard and understood, while also providing practical tools and strategies that support lasting change.
