Professional experience

Lauretta is a fully registered psychologist with experience supporting adults in private practice and within community settings and working with children and adolescents in primary and secondary school settings. She adopts a client-centred, trauma-informed approach, working collaboratively to help clients make sense of their experiences and develop practical strategies for change. Lauretta is fluent in Italian.

She has a particular interest in chronic illness adjustment and the impact of stressors across the lifespan, and works with a range of adult presentations including anxiety, depression, PTSD and complex PTSD, workplace stress, low self-esteem, trauma, grief and loss, bullying, and personality-related difficulties. Lauretta is known for her warm, engaged and collaborative therapeutic style, with an emphasis on creating a safe and supportive space for meaningful psychological work.

Lauretta has contributed to community-focused organisations such as The Smith Family and has experience working with marginalised and underprivileged populations. She also has experience with cognitive and educational assessment and feedback processes, supporting a holistic understanding of clients’ strengths and needs.
