Brett Urwin
Professional experience
Brett has 20 years of experience in the mental health field and has worked across a variety of roles as a psychologist. Most recently, Brett worked as a Senior Psychologist with Fire Rescue Victoria and is currently working with Australian military veterans on behalf of DVA. He delivers person-centred counselling to address mental health issues including, anxiety, stress, worry, trauma, addiction, relationships, and mentoring and coaching.
With a compassionate, respectful and authentic treatment style, Brett is passionate about using a number of approaches in Psychology including CBT, ACT, and EMDR. He also has a clinical interest in supporting people experiencing grief, PTSD, domestic violence, OCD, ADHD, depression, and schizophrenia.
