Professional experience
As a Provisional Psychologist, Christine has experience in both the public and private health sectors, and has worked with various populations across community, government, organisational and private practice settings. She has worked with individuals across all age groups and supported her clients in managing life transitions, adapting to injury or disease, dealing with conflict and improving overall wellbeing and health function. Christine has experience working with a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, ASD, interpersonal difficulties, grief and loss and stress/burnout. Christine adopts a person-centric, holistic and respectful approach with her clients – matched with a warm, compassionate and empathic style. With an ability to connect to people ‘where they are at’, Christine uses insight and an integrated approach to understand her clients, and to offer evidence-based interventions best suited to their needs and goals – including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Based Therapies and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
