Eileen is an experienced mental health social worker with over 25 years of experience in therapeutic counselling roles. She has a diverse background encompassing both public and private mental health sectors, as well as community health and hospital oncology social work. Specialising in areas such as bereavement, grief and loss, life transitions, family violence, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality, and couples work, Eileen’s skills are wide-ranging and comprehensive.

Eileen’s commitment to emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness skills equips her to guide clients through their challenges with empathy and expertise.

Eileen’s therapeutic toolkit includes a variety of evidence-based approaches, including ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing). Eileen is also experienced in group work, teaching Dialectical Behaviour skills to clients.
