Professional experience
Emma has extensive experience working in private practice with children, adolescents, and adults, providing comprehensive psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention. She has developed strong expertise in supporting clients through trauma, adjustment-related challenges, and significant life transitions. Emma draws upon a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy, and Somatic Therapy. She is skilled in delivering social–emotional development programs in school settings, crisis support services in work environments, as well as tailored interventions to meet the needs of diverse age groups.
In addition to her work with young people, Emma has numerous years of experience supporting adults adjusting to the impacts of physical and psychological injury or conditions. She has provided health coaching and counselling to help clients explore the beliefs, patterns, and perceptions influencing their wellbeing, empowering them to build insight, develop resilience, and overcome barriers to daily functioning and quality of life.
