Professional experience
Kate is a registered psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience, bringing warmth, insight, and genuine care to every client interaction. Kate has extensive experience in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) sector, supporting individuals and workplaces through a wide range of mental health and organisational challenges. Kate also has experience as a Forensic Clinician, where she further developed her expertise in trauma management and producing high quality, evidence based clinical reports. Her ability to combine compassion with analytical precision has earned her a reputation as a trusted and grounded professional.
Kate is currently studying a Masters of Clinical Psychology, expanding her clinical skills and deepening her commitment to delivering best practice therapeutic care.
Her clinical interests include depression, anxiety, stress, work related issues, family violence, anger management, substance related concerns, chronic pain, grief and loss, autism, and LGBTIQIA+ support. Kate’s therapeutic style blends empathy, expertise, and creativity to guide clients toward self reflection, resilience, and personal empowerment.
She draws on a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches, including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness based strategies, Schema Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
Alongside her clinical work, Kate is also a dedicated Trainer with Access Psych, where she facilitates programs designed to build healthier, more supportive workplaces. Her favourite program to deliver is Mental Health Awareness, aligning with her personal mission to reduce mental health stigma through education, compassion, and open conversation.
