Paulene Manio
Professional experience
Paulene is a registered psychologist who has worked across aged care, occupational rehabilitation, and private practice. She supports adults presenting with anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, trauma-related symptoms, chronic health conditions, and cognitive decline.
Paulene has experience with psychological assessment and evidence-based therapy via telehealth to residents in rural and remote aged-care facilities. Additionally, Paulene has worked in occupational rehabilitation, conducting biopsychosocial and vocational assessments and providing targeted interventions to support functional recovery and sustainable return-to-work outcomes. She has experience in collaborating closely with insurers, rehabilitation consultants, and treating practitioners.
Paulene adopts a client-centred, formulation-driven approach, drawing on CBT, ACT, DBT-informed, and solution-focused strategies to support meaningful improvements in psychological wellbeing. She provides therapy in both English and Filipino.
