Professional experience
Emma is a Mental Health Social Worker with over 14 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, families and individuals working within a myriad of settings.
Across her professional experience, Emma has worked extensively with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients. She has supported people living with Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Autism and BiPolar, along with people experiencing adjustment issues, interpersonal challenges, eating disorders and grief and loss. Emma has also provided coaching to parents to help them support their children.
Emma employs a range of therapeutic approaches when supporting her clients, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Emma is a solution-focused clinician who employs a person-centred, respectful, curious and nonjudgemental approach. She is passionate about supporting her clients to enhance and develop their own skills to manage the natural ups and downs of life.
Emma has a conversational level of French and German.
