Liz is a compassionate and experienced social worker and counsellor who has worked across a range of settings, including hospitals, youth mental health services, tertiary education, and the community sector. She has a strong background in supporting individuals affected by family violence, mental health challenges, grief, trauma, and significant life transitions.
Drawing from a diverse therapeutic toolkit, Liz integrates approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, mindfulness techniques, and a strength-based perspective. She is also committed to providing LGBTIQA+ Affirmative Therapy and has a particular interest in supporting individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
